A Solution to The Problem

Our initial ideas started with brainstorming about what to use a neural network pipeline for. We thought about the different ways to use a neural network in a way that would predict when solar storms would happen that was easily understood by other people. One of the ideas mentioned was creating a game where you have to prepare for a Carrington-level event. Another idea mentioned was making a simulation showing the earth if the Carrington event occurred now.

The journey carries on with us settling down with the plans to make a network that uses machine learning to “sense” whether or not there is a spike in solar wind activities. When we picked this challenge, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Even though we are decently experienced in coding and basic networking, however, machine learning algorithms proved to be a major challenge for us. Hopefully, we come on top at the end of the two days.
